Power Supplies
Model 600 machines are NOT recommended for rescue. The ROAL 064 power supply used in this machine fails catastrophically (burned, melted transformers and traces) and were known to be a problem in their original service life; no replacement power supplies can be obtained as they were all faulty. Model 600 machines should be purchased only for their literal scrap value and PCI cards and DASD should be pulled as spares for other, better machines.
